funny that the "war on christmas" meme has been retired by fox news.

i myself find it an ironic holiday, celebrating the birth of christ by engaging in rampant consumerism & egoism (buy her a lexus for xmas) & paying homage to a fat white man wearing red, of all colors.

merry christmas. here's an iphone!

when did "Merry Christmas" stop?

I've never heard of this & between friends, family, fans & followers, I've continued to wish Happy or Merry Christmas's.

A 'Festivus for the Rest of Us': Tips to plan an all-inclusive, multicultural holiday party at the office

Consider naming the party, if it is scheduled for December, without using the word "holiday." ?Holiday? connotes religious tradition and may not apply to all employees. For educational institutions, a December gathering may instead be called an ?end of semester? party. For a business office, an ?end of (fiscal) year? party may be more appropriate.

Oh shut up!

I love Christmas and everwhere I go here in California is Merry Christmas :) Australia was different, Christmas is in the middle of summer there but when I went to visit Hong Kong in December was total Christmas everywhere, including on the plane, very cool.

You must be really isolated in the woods of Tenessee and believe everything you read about the attack on Christmas so ridiculous :1orglaugh

That's because it's a fake war created by Fox News to rile up the old white people. I'm a flaming liberal and I say Merry Christmas.

You are a Russian in Russia you don't even have Christmas now you faker! Trying to act like you relate to living in America when you never have or will, let alone know what a gift an American Christmas is to our people and tradition here.

Actually Russians have Christmas, even numnnuts could find out this by simple google, but continue your display of proud ignorance and inventing things, it is entertaining.

I agree. Unfortunately small portion of population (mostly PC idiots) decided that Merry Christmas may be offensive and changed it to Happy holidays. Mentalists, as you say.

Most people say Merry Christmas, some say Happy Holidays, others say Happy Hanukkah (Hanukkah starts same day as Christmas eve this year) There are Santas in every mall and Christmas decorations everywhere.

Someone not living in America spreading this shit that Christmas is dead is bullshit and everyone living here knows you're full of shit, only foreigners might think what you say is true and hate liberals thinking your shit is true. :1orglaugh

its like i said before, people are being told what to be riled up about instead of getting riled up about things that are happening in their actual lives.

Do you mean it's different in Australia because of the weather (kinda ridiculous that people spray fake snow on their windows when it's 35C/95F), or there's some other difference?

Christmas products start appearing the day after Halloween here... if it wasn't for THAT celebration they would probably be there even earlier. :Oh crap

Haha yes, I lived in Oz on Isle of Capri on the Gold Coast for 5 years good times! I meant it's different because of the heat, only that, we're used to it being cold winter for Christmas not 35C/95F :thumbsup We put up our fake tree every year and did the boxing day thing great times.

In the US we have Thanksgiving holiday the third week in November, things officially turn Christmas after Thanksgiving.

I remember in Oz it was almost like Christmas for two months because of no Thanksgiving holiday buffer after Halloween. lol

Us Aussies don't mind a bit of snow - open the sunroof and fire up the barbie, just like any other day here... :winkwink:
