In the 1980s my first wife was a stripper and used to put on private shows for me after hours stripping to George Michael's "Father Figure" and "I Want Your Sex". I've always been a fan.

RIP.

dillfly2000 12-25-2016 05:23 PM

just saw this, too young.
Looks like the year is squeezing out as many as it can before 2017

VikingMan 12-25-2016 05:29 PM

How many hundreds of millions of women over the world were in deep denial about George being gay in the 80's and 90's? Some of his songs were pantry droppers for sure. How many babies were born after having been conceived while one of his songs was playing? The man certainly left his mark on Earth.

My favorite is Careless Whisper. I think we all loved George Micheal. He looked like Jesus had Jesus been better looking.....and British.

What a shock and so sad. He was on top until he was outed. His career suffered, drugs helped him escape, and he never came back. Great voice, looks and hair. When he shook that tush on video, fantasies came alive. He died "peacefully" but how do they know? No visible weapons, no signs of brutality, maybe, but if drug related, he may have died during a seizure. He was a true talent. RIP.

What difference do you make other than to provoke a response?

Too bad I never got to get fucked by him...only in my dreams now!

Paul&John 12-26-2016 01:43 AM

rip :( :(

MFCT 12-26-2016 02:08 AM

This is sad and shocking. I didn't expect him to die so young.

And its weird, I was explaining to my GF just last week why I like 70s hard rock. She doesn't like it or understand it.

I explained to her "because THIS was the music of MY generation" and showed her the video for "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go," as an example of how far music devolved in just ten short years.

I think that was 'nuff-said.

Anastasia AdCombo 12-26-2016 02:26 AM

RIP

He was a great singer. Wonderful songs...

pimpmaster9000 12-26-2016 04:09 AM

growing up as a kid in a no-homo country I thought his weirdness was "artistic expression" and shit...then the 80-s when I first saw him were strange as fuck and I thought boy george was just being artsy...I honestly thought queen singing "I want to break free" was not homo because he was trying to do some artsy shit as well...oh boy was I wrong :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

CaptainHowdy 12-26-2016 04:34 AM

It is times like this when you are losing your favorite artists so young (53) that you realize both the impact they and their music had on your life, as well as the value of your time and what you do with it. His music defined a generation. Hopefully George has finally found the inner peace of mind he seemed to be searching for all of his life. Die hard fans, including myself, will be forever grateful for his music that meant so much at different points in our lives.
