Would you pay $600 for an extra 2 inches ?

Samsung just sent me details of their new 34" monitor, but at $999.00 its $600 more than the 32" curved screen monitor, is that 2" worth the extra.

I know these have only been available for a short time but does anyone have one yet. Im eager to see how they perform..

Best Buy are the ones who are supposed to stock it, but they tell me they don't expect it to be in stock until end of January. Its available from Samsung direct but i don't get to see what its like until it arrives.

lol you should write headlines for websites, very catchy, you got me with this good one!

Spunky 01-02-2017 10:14 AM

Not really worth it. Dont think you would notice the little difference

DNCamper 01-02-2017 10:18 AM

Bells and whistles I think.

ErectMedia 01-02-2017 10:32 AM

Probably not, I waste money on iPhone upgrades $969 for the last one, nice watches etc... but I consider that a voluntary raping. Monitors/TV's/Stereo Components/Speakers etc... I can usually wait till something is not a brand new release as prices drop considerably after the initial rush. :2 cents:

I am not into "big" monitors - I would much rather have multiple monitors. I don't need 34 inches of monitor space so I can write text into a little box on GFY. With multiple monitors I can be have different screens set up to do different things.

However, Dell plans on launching a nice looking super thin 27 inch monitor at CES which looks great: Dell Unveils 27-inch Ultrathin Monitor - iClarified

Are there other features / improvements besides the extra inches?

RyuLion 01-02-2017 10:59 AM

I thought this was a penis extender thread..:2 cents: :1orglaugh

Many would and many do...although they usually start out with a low priced trial or a lower price point and accrue the mentioned amount over time. :1orglaugh

Except in your case the promised extra inches would indeed be delivered. ;)

1080p on a 32in monitor will be horrible

And are you comparing a regular monitor to an ultra wide monitor?

Depends on the specs (refresh rate, etc). $999 is actually cheap for a good 34" widescreen panel.
There are already similar monitors from Acer, Asus and LG priced at ~$1300, but they are 100Hz with nvidia -Gsync

I got the 38" widescreen LG. It rocks.

Before the page started to load I already had my CC ready to pay. WTF man :(

Best-In-BC 01-02-2017 04:06 PM

freecartoonporn 01-03-2017 05:56 AM
