Surf your local news websites.

Read your local news stories and it will give you a whole new perspective on reality.

National news sites give you the sensationalized news while your local news websites
reminds you that people everywhere are just pure shit in general.

This is a necessity and awesome you remind us!

I goto news.google.com and type in my city or county to see local news, it's also a great way to see the individual local sites providing news and setup a google alert for their updates :thumbsup

I've said this time and time again - national politics has little impact on the lives of American citizens.

Taxes go up, taxes go down, and we do our best to pay as little taxes as possible. Healthcare always goes up. We have had our military deployed in moderately active combat zones for the past sixteen years, and this is unlikely to change, and even this has little impact on the average American. Ebola, Benghazi, the email scandal, our relationships with Mexico, China, Russia, Ukraine, UK, Germany, Philippines, etc... None of this has any impact on the average American.

The economy and jobs are two items which do have an impact on the average American.

But if your garbage isn't picked up on garbage day, well, that's a problem.

Don't laugh. That happened here in our hometown during the recession. Our city workers went on strike, and our garbage wasn't picked up. If you don't pick up garbage once a week, it quickly gets backed up.

This week in California we are expecting to have the "biggest storm in two decades". This might not be a big deal in the rest of the country, but it's a problem here. My local town here nearly went broke spending tens of millions of dollars on year long projects to prevent local flooding. (I really hope this works!). That's what is important to me.

Otherwise, I find national politics comical.

Right.

There was a carjacking at the Walmart and a suspect was busted selling crack in front of the liquor store.

4 red blankets were brought to the county shoot n' stab hospital -- 2 victims remain in serious condition.

Man arrested for domestic assault -- girlfriend treated and released from hospital -- she refuses to press charges ...

2 one car accidents -- 1 driver arrested for DWI after striking a mailbox.

Family of 4 killed in the other accident -- SUV skidded on an icy road and hit a fuel truck and the truck exploded ... (roll blood and death video report)

One day in the city ...

After this commercial message Amy Bit Tits will have the local weather.

No thanks :upsidedow:1orglaugh

I prefer 'fake' news. Lots of ad strategy reverse engineering opportunities there.

Those dudes sure are clever.

Yes, location location location; is a cause of variance.

Clever is finding a way to prolong life. Fake news just preys on the gullible. If that's clever, then explain public school.

To paraphrase Einstein: human stupidity is endless

Fake news takes us just one step closer to the ultimate goal of making human stupidity turn a turbine and create free endless ELECTRICITY :winkwink:
