I'm quite enjoying the bumped threads, for no other reason than seeing mark prince get exposed for his bubble as much as it makes me laugh to see markham get exposed for his, in every biz thread ever :1orglaugh

Also interesting to see who handles their shit, as in who proceeds with what they've got, as opposed to who whines about what they wish they had. No surprise to see a direct correlation with people who yearn for the pre tube & social media days. And pre internet :1orglaugh

I do have genuine empathy for those who actually believe all the doom and gloom fear mongering, it's pretty fucked up that the media preys on the fearful pretty much 100% of the time in a huge variety of clickbait articles disguised as news... but don't really have much time for the incessant whiners. Voicing concerns is one thing (if you are ready for feedback, and willing to accept that every single 'bad' thing ever, actually turned out ok, or passed and you made it to the other side where improvements came about) - crying like an 8 year old girl about how unfair everything is, and how hillary actually 'won' despite the fact that pretty much the whole world knows the US election has never been decided on total votes cast, is... well... leaving yourself wide open to being trolled by joshua.

In America when you win the presidency, like Trump, you win a gold presidency or silver presidency.

Gold presidency: Win Electoral College + Majority vote = Mandate

Silver presidency: Win Electoral College only = NO MANDATE

This is a very simple concept.

You confuse people saying he lost the popular vote and has no madate , with losing the election. They are not the same.

I have zero problem with people saying he lost the popular vote, because he did. I realise you don't come into the category of who I'm talking about, as you openly stated you were trolling, but people actually sticking to their belief that hillary 'won' in terms of who won the election... just wtf. Denial is obviously one of the stages of grief, but damn.

Hard to blame Mark, he admits he sits by his pc with MSNBC running all day. He was brainwashed by Rachel Maddow and became so biased, he's lost all sense of objectivity when viewing political matters.

Not true. You may think that I only watch Rachel Maddow because you have made an assumption about me based only on my opinions I post here. You don't actually know me. We have never met, or talked on the phone, bullshitted over beers, etc, so your statement is false.

FYI, I am actually I'm watching CBC right now, and the coverage of the big shoooo.... (In Canada, we have CBC, CTV, BBC, in addition to NBC, MSNBC, CNN and Fox). I don't watch them all, all of the time, but I try.

Edit: And to Rachel Maddow's credit, she is a great reporter. She backs up everything she says, and is fast to correct any errors. She's cool enough to have guests like Gretta Van Susteren Kellyann Conway), and when she presents a story with a guest, her first question to the guest asks if she has her facts straight. On top of it all, she really treats her "foes" on her show with lots of respect.
