Barry - .cam domains

Hey.

I picked up a .cam at namecheap yesterday for $27.88.

Do you know if they are the lowest price? I went through about half the registrar list at the .cam page and they were the lowest I saw.

Did you ever do a list of the .cam registrars and their prices like you did with the .rip ones?

Thanks

Hmm. I looked but could not find. I kind of figured he had.

Oh well, he will answer up at some point I am sure.

Thanks

Here is a list of the current prices.

If you develop something we like a link from one of our .cam sites is possible or some free publicity -- no promises but I want to show some success stories for the .cam brand :2 cents:

OVH
$23.54
Namecheap
$27.88
Marcaria.com
$29.00
Uniregistry
$29.88
Regtons
$29.90
101 domain
$29.99
Dynadot
$29.99
Name.com
$29.99
Hexonet
$33.50
Gandi.net
$40.25
Network Solutions
$41.99
IWantMyName
$49.00
United Domains
$49.00

Hmm, well ovh is actually at $20 right now because of the conversion between Euro and U.S.

So Namecheap is the lowest U.S. registrar.

Well, if I develop something good I will let you know. ;p

I m thinking of building an empire :helpme

Thanks for the reply.

Good luck with your domains bro!

Yeah namecheap is the best.

Still a small problem in Google - if i write <domain>.cam it asks "do you mean <domain>.com" but still lists it.

Just noticed it does not happen for sex.cam so suppose it just needs some link juice.

I am just about to grab some of them too.

No it is not about links inbound ...

I don't get that with a few .cam names I registered last week ???

But when I try Yahoo.cam ...:upsidedow

If the name is a hijack or clone name of an established domain -- yes?
columbian.com is the domain of a newspaper in Oregon USA

I own a few domains in BOTH the .cam and the .com now --- redirecting 301 the .com to the => .cam works for me ... We will move to xlove.cam maybe in time.

OMG haha yahoo didn't buy their trademark name and use it or reserve it ... word to the wise ... don't be a cheap-fuck

Google.cam was reserved by GOOGLE, INC.

This is particularly true if you own a trademark with a .com in the wordmark. You will have a difficult time in a URS or UDRP arbitration to get that domain. It's up to you ...
