U.N. Official Admits Global Warming Agenda Is Really About Destroying Capitalism
A shocking statement was made by a United Nations official Christiana Figueres at a news conference in Brussels.
Figueres admitted that the Global Warming conspiracy set by the U.N.?s Framework Convention on Climate Change, of which she is the executive secretary, has a goal not of environmental activists is not to save the world from ecological calamity, but to destroy capitalism. She said very casually: ?This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the Industrial Revolution.? She even restated that goal ensuring it was not a mistake: ?This is probably the most difficult task we have ever given ourselves, which is to intentionally transform the economic development model for the first time in human history.? This is pretty much shitty journalism...
?This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the Industrial Revolution.? means something else then: "destroy capitalism"... since when is "changing" > "destroying"? [Btw... isn't this what antiglobalists love very much? Destroying capitalism?] What she probably means is that if you want a cleaner earth you can't continue to polute like current capitalist system is poluting... somewhere a sacrifice needs to be taken... Of course current economic system needs to be transformed.... there is more consumer plastic floating around in the ocean then there are stars in the sky... People get bored with bying 1 dollar plastic throwaway products massively overproduced by the Chinese and dumped on the market at dumprises... Filling up empty hearts with plastic is not a sustainable future... Quote:

He is correct, though. But, if you think about it, the current economic frame was developed in the late Victorian Era. Exploitation of commodities drove it, and thus "free market" meant a way to efficiently exploit commodities. This still works, essentially. However, human capital is now a global commodity, though rent, food and services are NOT globalized. So your earnings will be hurt by the "efficient" market, but your rent does not go down, and you food still costs the same.
You can spout theory all day, but people will not accept hunger and insecurity. Unless rent and food can be made as "efficient" as labor, this free market system will produce tension. |
I was only pointing out that this is from 2 years ago....why are we bothering with it today other than a few Alt-right blogs found it in their historical searches for anti-globalism on google and reposted it for view mongering self interests
