Canon wide angle BUDGET lenses?
I'm sick of my Canon kit one and looking to get a wide angle lenses at the reasonable price. I am fairly good at street photography, so for that aim, any suggestions?

a trademan never blames his tools...
you say you´re wanting to create new look photos for your collection but don´t want to pay much with the interest in budget lens. Why not buy something like this, an add on : Superstudio Wide Angle And Macro Lens For Canon 58 Mm Black good luck :thumbsup |

I have a set of Rokinon Cine Primes in 24,25,50 and 68. Then a Xeen 16mm.
I use all of these for taking photos, but they're made for video. Fully manual. Declicked aperture. The Xeen is a tank. All that fun stuff. But they are nice for photo too. In Europe, they're Samyang. |
I'm thinking CANON EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM . . . or CANON EF 40 mm f/2.8 STM
$250 range in Europe. |
Vote for Samyang 14mm f/2.8 ED AS IF UMC Canon EF

heres the truth you pay for what you get....precision ground glass is costly specially when you add in correction like APO so expect the lens you get to be as good as what you paid for it.....I have a Nikon F2.8 VRII 70-210 for my D750 I could have spent less for 70-210 lens but I would NOT have gotten the razor sharp image quality...pricey lens...yes worth every dime...damn right it is

Canon 10-18 is a good value, it got good reviews as well. It only fits APS-C bodies tho (T6i, 80D, etc).

Check out Tokina 11-16mm, pretty cheap and constant f2.8, I bought a canon mount version 6 years go, still get great results on sony a6300 via nex mount adapter.

Regarding other brands than Canon NEVER seen anything in the store like that, guess the market is very conservative here. |
