It is obvious, but not to libtards.
Any normal employer pays the same for the job, difference is due to different jobs being done by men and women. Also (just guessing, might be wrong) average man is smarter (in terms of logical smarts etc) than a woman, so naturally average man earns a bit more.
This is idiotic "issue" invented by emotional thinking libtards.

Or are you also claiming that there is no difference between men and women in their capabilities, career paths, kid growing time offs, go getter attitude and so on and so on?

issue is that women didn't "choose" any of that, that's just the cards they were dealt...
men would say: "tough luck... those were the cards you were dealt, make the best of it..."
women would say: "not fair! I'm getting less in life because of no fault of my own..."

I think male and female nurses (as an example) are paid the same wages based on seniority and certification. You have to compare apples with apples. Men get better paying jobs than many women -- so is there is gender bias or do different work skills pay different rates.

Take a 'desk job' like customer support or data entry -- These jobs should pay the same based on hours worked, experience and skills.
