What's good Free Hosting? (non commercial use)

I need some good reliable ads-free hosting - own domain support, php, apache. 500mb+ space and the more bandwidth the better. Perfectly long timer.

It's for a non commercial thing.

Is no good and free.

First, there are no free adult host, except those free free tube/blog hosts which are not free traditional hosts. And when it comes to non-adult, best one would be freehostia.com where i have account for years and it still works fine.

It is possible to have good and free host without ads, where basically you can make money by selling bigger packages once free package is not good enough. Of course, i'v seen tons of free hosts going out of biz, you definitely need to be prepared to smoke a lot of money before you start making it.

I am pretty sure wordpress.com puts ads on free blogs and you can not add your own ads on it.

Why would someone give you free hosting with no ads or no upsell?

If you can't afford the hosting you should rethink your biz plan

It's not for business. :)
For business and adult I've got already 2 servers for which I pay monthly.
I need smaller thing for non commercial stuff, some personal project, nothing serious. :)

If you have 0,50$ to spend monthly for hosting then go with Hostblast it's only 0,50$ a month and it's a real hosting with Cpanel and super cheap!
