Can video games provide a SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE?
Here's one answer...
I poo'd myself playing Silent Hill BITD, so that was a kinda spiritual experience... :2 cents:
you simply can't compare a real spiritual experience to playing a video game. If you EVER ate mushrooms, acid, DMT or some other psychedelics, you can confirm this.
Sure, already try it

I don't have time to play games for the last couple of years, but I can tell you that spending 20 hours with a well written game with good acting and great action set pieces can be one of life's pleasures. It doesn't beat having a threesome with two Brazilian girls, but it's still pretty good.

Concentration and constance are always part of any spiritual practice ...
yes, if you are already high af.

That was a cool video, Xbox connecting in a more intimate way tugging at the heartstrings of younger players
When you think about it while gaming you are so detached from reality but intimately in tune at the same time on a different level. Whatever happened to the game where you nuture the eggs and they hatch then you teach them to do stuff? Was that Nintendo? Why aren't there more games not related soley to having a goal and killing everything on your way there without dying? |
I wonder if other games have a similar 'ghost' feature
