Trump nor any WH offical have made any comments on this as of yet, but Steve Bannon's name is no longer listed on the National Security Counsel but former intelligence chiefs are back on whom had previously been removed..

Doesn't seem to be very quietly at all. It's front page news everywhere.

Bannon had no place on the NSC. At all. I understand that some of the decisions made with the NSC have real life political consequences, but the NSC is intentionally apolitical. The NSC - and in fact the entire American military complex - is apolitical and gives facts and options.

Having Bannon on NSC is like when the Russians had a political officer assigned to every unit.

It's on the front page everywhere because a reporter noticed the change and wrote a story.. The Trump admin never publicly notified anyone of the change, they just quietly made the change.. As with everything else with this "non-transparent" administration we only find out what they are doing when reporters find shit or shit gets leaked..
