Putin doesn't even want the Syrian gas attacks investigated, what is Putin hiding? Sounds like Putin did the gassing not Assad. No other reason Putin wouldn't want U.N. investigating.

Russia vetoed a UN resolution Wednesday that would have required Syria to cooperate with investigators and face full accountability after a brutal chemical attack in that country.

It's the eighth time Russia has vetoed a proposed Security Council resolution on Syria.
The resolution, crafted by the United States, United Kingdom and France, was circulated to the 15 member countries of the Security Council on Tuesday.

Western ambassadors blasted Russia earlier Wednesday for continuing to support Syrian President Bashar al-Assad

The security council veto rule needs to be replaced with a 3/4 yes vote super-majority rule.

Why does Putin say nothing can be proven then veto an investigation to verify the truth?

Putin is hiding the fact that either Russia released the chemical weapons themselves or knew they were going to be administered violating U.N. treaties for members use of chemical weapons which means Russia can be removed from NATO for such violations, they would be the first.

It's interesting but Russia has very sexist laws. For example, if a woman here will murder and eat 1000000000 kids, she can not be imprisoned for life (25 years is max that she can get). If a male will commit such a crime, he will never leave the jail. We have no death penalty in Russia. A lifetime prison is a max punishment, but it does work for the 18+ men only.
