Your first website
Do you remember when you created your first website? It still works? Share the link :upsidedow
|
mmm, 2001 or so, was a kind of news paper
|
Back in 99/00... I'm too shy to share lol - Even wayback is embarrassed of it :)
|
my first website was a fan page
|
my first site was fan page of miley cyrus.
|
I created the first nationwide searchable database for apartments online in '98 I made bank in placement charges and The Irvine Company & The Lyon Company as my biggest nationwide advertisers, then forrent.com came on and slowly started copying all my features, I got bored and sold the business. The site was apts-for-rent.com which is now basically a placeholder 👍😊
Fuck, it's almost been 20 years wow |
My first design was a gallery I built for Twistys to get submitted to The Hun and Thumbzilla.
|
ours was adult-excitement.co.uk before we purchased a few others & arsewithclass.com :thumbsup
|
my first and still my favorite was/is quinn69.com
when I first made it I didn't even know how to make a clickable link in html without the visual editor so it was a lot of learning as I went |
I remember it. It is no longer up today.

LOL.... Here is an early sample of my first website..... This looks it's from 1998 or so, but I started in 1994. This was back in the day when we had to manually update daily pages by hand via FTP.

I am getting my snapshots from Internet Archive: Wayback Machine....
|
Mine had a black background with lots of pink blinking text. Then one day I added the coolest thing ever - an animated gif of a flame, and background midi music! WOW...talk about cutting-edge site design!

I made a gallery and sold it for 100 USD. Stupid good times.

My first website was for my cat, LittleGrayGuy... it went online in December 2000 and it's still up and running, though I'm just about to stop updating it... see sig.
I first did paying shoots for a website called Venice Beach Girls, which never went live, but it gave me the opportunity to break into professional photography... within a few years I quit my well paid computer consultant job to shoot porn full time. Here are some of the images I shot (on chrome aka transparency film) in 1998/99, that were never published: http://www.littlegrayguy.com/gfy/vbg_01.jpg http://www.littlegrayguy.com/gfy/vbg_02.jpg http://www.littlegrayguy.com/gfy/vbg_03.jpg http://www.littlegrayguy.com/gfy/vbg_04.jpg http://www.littlegrayguy.com/gfy/vbg_05.jpg http://www.littlegrayguy.com/gfy/vbg_06.jpg |
I can't remember the first, but it must have been in 1996 or so.

My first one was a basketball site. With crazy "you won 1 million, click here" banners. 1998 circa.
I used geocities to create that site. Remeber geocities? |
My first site was hosted on my old ISP free hosting you used to get when you had an ISP account so the URL was something like aracnet.com/~kane. It was a voyeur niche site where I used a filter to make all the pics look they were shot through a hidden cam. I got listed on Greenguy and Tommy's on the same day and got enough traffic (likely a few thousand hits) that the ISP took the site down and told me I would have to pay for hosting. This was in 1998.

I started to make amateurish adult sites in 1997. |
It was a mainstream site. I made it completely myself.
