President Trump launched another public assault Tuesday morning on his own attorney general, Jeff Sessions, questioning why the Justice Department chief has not done more to investigate alleged ?crimes? by Hillary Clinton and those who have leaked information to the media.

?Attorney General Jeff Sessions has taken a VERY weak position on Hillary Clinton crimes (where are E-mails & DNC server) & Intel leakers!? Trump tweeted at 6:12 a.m. from his personal account, his second Twitter message of the morning.
The only thing leaking are your Depends.

This is Mic’s daily read on Donald Trump’s America. This is it — the long promised Senate vote on health care.

How will John McCain vote today?

Trump thinks the Attorney General is his own personal attorney and is bullying Sessions because he's not playing the role. The only thing holding him back from full dictator is checks and balances which he is openly trying to destroy and the Trumpers fully support it.

beerptrol 07-25-2017 06:56 AM

You notice he rants about loyalty to him and protecting the president, but says nothing about the rule of law!

He's disparaging Sessions for trying to show some integrity. To a scumbag like Trump, integrity looks like something foreign and untrustworthy.

Integrity is betrayal in Trump's world.

You're seeing a morbidly obese 71 year old geriatric have a public tempertantrum in his soiled Depends.

onwebcam 07-25-2017 08:51 AM

I told you it's only a matter of time before he says "fuck it" and goes after someone who should already be in jail. Looks like that time is getting closer. Looking forward to seeing who he/she/they might be.

If he should be in jail why did he appoint him as attorney general?..

Robbie 07-25-2017 09:04 AM

I love how the media uses terms like "assault", "lashing out",and other verbiage designed to trigger snowflakes.
Yet when Sweet Baby Jesus Obama would get pissed and "lash out" in speeches, it was described as The PRESIDENT being "stern" and "showing his displeasure" and would be accompanied by a picture of Obama looking heroic.

Can't you guys see the way the media plays you like fools?

You're fucked in the head. No offense

You're indicative of, pretty much, half of your party. You chided Michelle Obama for wearing sleeveless tops then elect a first lady that posed nude, whose "married" to a morbidly obese 71 year old geriatric that publicly indulges his every whim publicly (except the Russian ones)

And this is the kind of thinking that is keeping the Democrats from winning.

Trump won because Democrat voters switched over by the millions in 3 "blue" states.
Hillary had no message for them

No.

I don't recall Obama "lashing out" in speeches. Then again, I surely didn't pay too much attention to Obama's speeches.

With Trump it's just a daily assault of sewage. Trump thought everyone would just fall into step behind him, but he completely fails to understand how government and politics works. They Attorney General doesn't work for Trump, he works for the American people, and there are still laws to be followed.

Trump was annointed by 538 elites in the corrupt electoral college. Americans voted for the Democrat by a 3 million vote majority.

You live in a fantasyland and are in complete denial of what a mess Trump has created and his imminent demise.

As usual you miss my point...Trump isn't "lashing out" or any of those other colorful descriptions the media uses.

And goddamn Rochard...YES, the AG DOES work for the President. He's part of his cabinet.
He's an EMPLOYEE of the Executive Branch.

You need to take a civics course.

Trump is temporarily employed by the American people. Trump works for America, in America's best interest. The people Trump manages, they work temporarily for the American people as well, and they have to be approved by congress, who are temporary employees of the American people, working on behalf of Americans.

The AG is appointed by the President but he is NOT the Presidents personal Attorney (that would be the White House counsel), he works for the Dept of Justice and the American people to uphold the US Constitution, not some wannabe 3rd world dictators agenda. Can't believe this has to be explained to you.

BaldBastard 07-25-2017 09:42 AM

The Senate Judiciary Committee issued a subpoena late Monday to compel former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort?s appearance at a public hearing on Wednesday.

Nobody knows why since he was already coming in. Weird.

I was watching CNN this morning and couldn't help but marvel at the hypocrisy of the media once again.

I remember when Trump fired Corey Lewandowski and how HAPPY the "reporters" on CNN were that Trump hired Manafort.
It was the usual 24 hours a day coverage. Lewandowski was "hitler" and Manafort was the "adult" with "experience" that Trump was bringing in to "save his fractured campaign"

Do any of y'all remember that? It was an orgy of approval from the establishment and the media.

Of course CNN immediately HIRED Lewandowski who they had been attacking for months as a monster. lol

And now...they forget how much they praised Manafort and suddenly he's become a "Russian Spy".

And today...they are all going on about how brave McCain is and how much they love McCain.
But the same people viciously tore him to pieces when they "reported" on the campaign in 2008.
They hated the guy. And they continued to hate him until Trump and McCain started arguing back and forth.
THEN...McCain was suddenly the wisest man in Washington D.C.

It's ridiculous.

Or James Comey.
The media went after him and demanded he be fired after he announced the investigation into Hillary.
Then when Trump fired him...the EXACT SAME people were "outraged" that he had been fired! WTF?!?!?!

And Comey went from being Satan to being Saint James. lol

So fucking stupid.

Barry-xlovecam 07-25-2017 10:07 AM

robbie, TRUMP is the one trying to play the media as a fool -- the whole world is laughing at your country and you don't care and want to blame Obama?

You say you don't know facts, yet refuse to look them up before posting. You distract with your hate for "the media" then you wander to the past to revel in Trump's campaign.

You are in complete denial.

Surly you must understand that peoples opinion changes as new details arise.

Oj Simpson, Michael Jackson, Bill Cosby

All had times when the public loved them, doubted them and hated them.

Manafort for example is no different, it totally depends on the information at hand.

Here is a tweet from this morning...

Attorney General Jeff Sessions has taken a VERY weak position on Hillary Clinton crimes (where are E-mails & DNC server) & Intel leakers!

Those are MY words. I've been talking about the media's lack of journalism since the beginning of the campaign in 2015.

These are my thoughts, not "nonsense". You don't agree with me...fine. Don't try to paint me as "alt-right". Nobody even knows what that term means. It's just something the media made up.

I guess you never did well in school.

His "oath"? WTF? lol

He works for the President. The PRESIDENT works for "the people".
He and he alone was elected to his position in the Executive Branch. Nobody else in the Executive Branch is elected to their position. They are all "hired" by the President.

There is NOTHING in the Constitution about an "Attorney General". He is an employee of the Executive Branch.

He is the chief law enforcement officer in the Federal Govt.

Here is the actual history of the position of Attorney General since you can't be bothered with educating yourself:
"The Office of the Attorney General was created by the Judiciary Act of 1789 (ch. 20, sec. 35, 1 Stat. 73, 92-93), as a one-person part-time position. The Act specified that the Attorney General was to be "learned in the law," with the duty "to prosecute and conduct all suits in the Supreme Court in which the United States shall be concerned, and to give his advice and opinion upon questions of law when required by the President of the United States, or when requested by the heads of any of the departments, touching any matters that may concern their departments."

Got it Rochard? He's an employee of the Executive Branch. That's why the President hires them AND can fire them.
The head of the FBI for instance...he reports to the Attorney General.
Trump can fire all of them if he wants to.

The guy that owns YNOT...he doesn't need to ask your boss for permission to fire you. He can do it himself if he wants to. You are an EMPLOYEE. Just like Sessions is.

IF the Attorney General was an elected position...then yes, you could say he "works for the people" and has an "oath" to the Constitution.
But it's not, and he doesn't.

Yes, one of the reasons for the refugee problems are the USA actions during the Obama period (and before). I can't think of much possitive things Obama did for the EU. But i also don't expect that Trump will do much for the EU. Still hoping that finally Russia and the USA can get an agreement on Syria TOGETHER, what Obama didn't want.

ALL members of the Federal Executive and Legislative Branch take an oath.

5 U.S. Code § 3331 - Oath of office

An individual, except the President, elected or appointed to an office of honor or profit in the civil service or uniformed services, shall take the following oath: ?I, [name], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.? This section does not affect other oaths required by law.

This is why the Attorney General was sworn in.

Jeff Sessions is not an employee. He is an appointed government official. The President does not "hire" the Attorney General, but instead nominates him, and then it has to be voted on by the Senate.

The Job of the Attorney General is to run the Justice Department. He is responsible for the "enforcement of the law and administration of justice". The Job of the Attorney General is not to protect or represent the President. The Attorney General does not give legal advice in personal matters of the President.

Trump is basically calling out the head of the FBI for bribery. This kind of thing is what makes Trump so great.

Problem is that the acting head of the FBI & the person in charge of the Hillary investigation, Andrew McCabe, got $700,000 from H for wife!

Well, for instance some stupid countries let them being dragged in USA wars that most people don't want.

I am sure trump who is less charming will get less international approval for military actions than Obama. That is a win. At least i hope that is a win-win when the USA won't act as the World Police. The next will be N-Korea, what countries will support Trump?

Great post! :thumbsup

Facts don't matter to Robbie.

Ideological dogma matters to Robbie.

Actions don't matter to Robbie, as long as he is told what he likes to hear.

Trump is being such a little pussy with regards to the Attorney General. Either fire him, or sit down in a room and hash out the differences. But don't blast off daily and let a man twist in the wind.

Anyone who doesn't see any difference in the way Trump carries himself vs Obama isn't worth explaining anything to.

Robbie has to be one of the most annoyingly obtuse people you're likely to ever encounter. He's a giant dickhole.
