Well we had a cold front come into Las Vegas here, its been 107-109 degrees and now only 101. Dry heat usually but now it is so humid. How do people in Texas deal with the humidity?

That's easy to deal with if you don't know any different. However, since I moved to Vegas, I prefer the dry heat... And no mosquitoes

My cat has been splayed out on the garage floor for the last week - I poke her with a stick every so often to make sure she's alive...

When you're done poking, grab an ice cube and run it along her fur. She'll might freak a bit, but it's better than spraying her or dunking her in water. Her saturated fur will cool her as the water evaporates.
