I remember always seeing his telethons on tv.

Really sad to hear about Jerry. His heyday was way before my time. But I enjoyed watching the MD telethons, with all the stars, acts, huge corporations donating millions. I always thought it would have led to a cure or some kind of really effective treatment by now. Sure, advances have been made. But IDK if they're really any closer now than when they started.

RIP Jerry.

He was a good man, he did a lot of good during his life as well and may he RIP.

My great uncle built one of his houses. He (my great uncle) actually got sick on his (Lewis') jet flying back from California while building his house. He died of cancer not long after.

Very sad news.
