I just read that Governor Brown of CA

has signed a law that bans the sale of dogs from pet stores that are not rescue animals. No more puppy mills. I think that this should become a nationwide movement and do suspect that it will.

Puppymills are the problem, not pet stores.

Yes because everyone wants a mixed mutt.

 What about beaner mills?
The more they pop out, the more welfare they get. |

The problem is not regulating breeding. We could solve the pet shelter problem if it was illegal to breed dogs without a license.

You could even code a spider to go out and crawl for ads from numerous sources on a daily basis... |

I think this is a great law...I hope they stick to it...

Pet stores haven't sold puppies for years in the UK. People just buy from private breeders which can be worse for the dogs. I got a Rottweiler from someone and later found out he was just under 5 weeks old. Too early to be separated.

And it's the Breeder's Association of California for the win.
