is tumblr killing adult related blogs by the "sensitive" mode?

tumblr recently flaged one of my blogs as "sensitive".
it's a femdom and foot fetish blog .... nothing hard core.

what happens now is that if a random surfer tried to visit my blog - it can't be accessed , instead it says: "This Tumblr may contain sensitive media. Safe mode is on".

this is what this new "sensitive mode" is all about:
https://techcrunch.com/2017/06/20/tu...-of-safe-mode/

problem is that if the surfer doesn't have an account at thumblr (or not logged in) which most of them don't because they come from google , not thumblr in my case - he can't disable the safe mode, he can't get around it and so - can't visit my blog.
the surfer's options are: log in to thumblr, sign up to thumblr or leave.
of course if he doesn't have an account already at thumblr - he will leave.
i'm referring to the desktop version.
in the mobile version there seems to be a "see post" button which the desktop one doesn't have.

am I missing something here? does the surfer have another option to visit the blog without a thumblr account?

well ok, it's not my blog, and verizon's blog.
ok.
(I have many blogs hosted on my server but decided to create one on thumlr because of it's social activity but forget about me)

what's you say on the subject: there are a lot of porn blogs on thumblr - will this be the end of porn on thumlr ?

no, but it will slow it down a lot.

Their site, their rules. They may as well ban all porn related blogs tomorrow. Harsh but true.

Have luck.

Tumblr doesn't owe you a living. If they tag something that's down to them. Their site their rules.

There were threads about this 2 months ago.

Tumblr has become useless for porn since they started to block all SE robots in robots.txt on all adult blogs. Your blog won't even appear in Google search.

In addition to this, you now also need to log-in (= have an account) to see adult content.

Tumblr is done for adult.

Hope you at least were using your own domain name.
