First of all, the president shouldn't go looking for praise for doing what any American president would do for any of his citizens. And even worse is getting into an internet war with an ungrateful asshole.

Obama would have been above this. He would have sprung the kids from jail, and pretend Lavar doesn't exist because he has more important business to take care of -- but we have a child in the White House now. If those guys did end up in Chinese prison, they wouldn't have to worry about their buttholes too much. They could end up running the place. I was going to also say it's not good to go around asking for favors from other world leaders, so it was smart on Obama's part to not do that -- although a little old hearted. It's a tough spot to be in.

But Trump doesn't calculate nuances such as these. Anyway, I would have thought it was an awesome thing for him to do, if he hadn't done it to look like a hero. Do you see the big picture here?
