DMCA help > SERPS Reinstate

After sending many counter notices, my main domain is delisted (however other pages remain) still. Does anyone know how long it takes for a successful counter notice to reinstate a domain to the SERPS?

Thanks.

Hello, once google accepts your counter-notice it typically takes a few weeks. That's if the party that filed the complaint doesn't want to take it to court.

Thanks. Well I submitted it many months ago. It was done by Cam Model Protection. I've heard horror stories about them sending bogus notices.

I've tried to contact them directly too. No luck.

Yes receiving notices are inconvenient and costly; it seems to be the part of the business and as long as the DMCA laws stay the same, this won't change either.

Here is the email you'll want to receive from G before reinstatement.

Hello,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

As described in 17 U.S.C. 512(g), we will forward the counter notification to the complainant. If we do not receive notice that the complainant has brought a court action within 10 to 14 days, we will reinstate the material in question.

Thanks so much.

I'm suffering same issue.
I do not host nor store any content in my own sites.
I just embed them from openload and other hosting sites.
I even did not receive DMCA notice via email.
Today my homepage is deindexed!
I've just sent a DMCA counter.
In my case, since I do not put any pics/videos in my server, how can I can get into this DMCA stuff?

I had a great cam blog that was doing very well. DMCA fucked it up, so I killed it. It really is time for cam platforms to offer zips of approved content, as it stands, I don’t even use a model’s name on my sites any more. Waste of fucking time.

magneto664 01-12-2018 05:07 PM

from a few days to several weeks, you do not know and they also don't know :)

Update on the issue:

Here's what I said:

Quote:

It is imperative that my domain **********.com is reinstated in google since no infringing work is on the site.

I would like to contest this. The person/company filing the complaint has not responded to any of my emails, contact form link (https://cammodelprotection.com/contact/) or twitter messages regarding this matter.

This is regarding: https://www.lumendatabase.org/*************

I don't believe it's fair that one complaint de-indexes my site as a whole. Am I supposed to throw away my domain because of this complaint?

I think this one DMCA against my site severely impacts the functionality of the business I'm trying to run and the lack of contact and follow up is what's really broken with the DMCA process.

Please advise. I took a long time carefully wording this message and doing my own due diligence to solve this matter peacefully.

Hello,

We require more information in order to process your request. Please provide additional details clarifying the reason for your reinstatement request.

We encourage you to review https://library.educause.edu/topics/...right-act-dmca for more information about the DMCA and the requirements of a counter notice. If you have legal questions about this, you should consult your own legal counsel.

What else are they actually looking for here?

Let me get this straight so I inderstand this logic..

So,you know it is a stolen content and you are just pointing to it so other thieves can find it ?

How are you NOT guilty of aiding and abetting?? What am I missing here ??

FYI: my business affairs dept. issues many DMCA notices ( did not yet gone to Google) and have recieved a few of these :" we do not host stolen content", yet every single one did remove links, clips or other references pointing to pirates and some even pointed their links to our site and have become our affiliates.

FYI 2) the only pirates who give us hard time are Amazon, eBay and Youtube, they are the biggest pirates in the World.

You should be sending DMCA to:
Google
Bing
Yahoo
Registrar
The TLD Registry
Upstream Hosting

Sign a license agreement with Youtube. They offer them. We have.

Okay Update On My Situation:

- I suggested that the pages that were removed (and I'm asking to get reinstated) from google contained only video thumbnails.
- No copywritten material in question is on the server.
- I told them I would understand if they removed: mysite.com/video-of-something-copywritten/ got removed, but not mysite.com in whole.

They better not respond asking for more details lol.

Not even on the Premium? Thats too bad if not. Great stuff! It still might be worth speaking to a company I work with in NYC. Explain the situation. They have agreements with Youtube for their members. Free to join.

Don't feel bad if nothing happens. We got hit with a DMCA a year or so ago. From the toy manufacturer who supplies a site we promote. We got them to re-tract DMCA from Google, show proof of it to us and Google even replied saying they had the retraction...and they fucknobs never lifted the DMCA notice.

Ask the guy in your SIG, he claims to be an expert.

incredibleworkethic 01-30-2018 01:28 AM

Update: Since my main domain and tags were hit, telling google there was no infringing content or videos on it seemed to do the trick.

Hello,

We would like to help you, but your submission is missing the following information, which is required by law for a DMCA counter-notice:

- Your street address in the following format: 123 My Street, City, State, County, Zip Code

For more details on the required content of a DMCA counter-notice, please see 403 Forbidden, or 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3).

Upon receipt of this information, we will proceed with the reinstatement process. You may include any information listed above in a response to this email thread.

I've gotten plenty of stuff reinstated. Follow the file a fuck you from the Google email.

In it include link to tos from affiliate program stating you can use their stuff to promote them. Also include one from modeling tos that states, they are giving the program full use of their likeness.

Works every time so far for me.

incredibleworkethic 02-14-2018 02:38 AM

As of yesterday, it is back. Fuck you Cam Model Protection. You DMCA'd the wrong URL, it wasn't even a page with a video lol.
