Choose a niche you are interested in. As it will be a lot of work, and if you are not interested in it you WILL FAIL. :2 cents:

there is only one reliable way:

do the research on a niche to get a clue how competitive is and is there a chance to get in. This means search volumes that will show you the demand. When you have the results, you can check for the competition. There are still many places to get in.

After that, check out sponsors in that niche and forums to see are there some problems with them.

Check out my sig and the yellow link to get a better idea.

1. Browse porn site's, find something interesting
2. Trow that idea in the google keyword tool
3. put those results in a domain name checker (optional..)
4. install a basic site to get things started (wordpress, or basic html for example)
5. ???
6. profit

:2 cents:

And how will he know search volume and competition strength then?

Just thinking out loud (not always smart)

And "Choose a niche you are interested in" helps.

My suggestions are:

- don't be too interested in niche, it can be distracting :) ,
- avoid EMD domains, Google hates them (from my own experience),
- choose .com domain,
- don't build links in first 12 months,
- add content regularly, unique titles and descriptions with tags,
- find wider niche, and then splits this niche into categories:

domain.com
domain.com/category/smaller-niche-1
domain.com/category/smaller-niche-2

- be VERY patient.

For keyword research use Keyword planner and KWfinder.

Two of the best niches are cams and dating. Maybe do a few blogs and photoblogs bullshitting about how you use all these dating and cam sites and what were the results. Shit, maybe I'll do that if I ever have the time. This takes work! It might take weeks to get your first check, or you might get it the first day.
