George Soros has moved to defy his critics over his £400,000 donation to the pro-EU campaign group Best for Britain by pledging an additional £100,000 to support efforts to fight Brexit.

The billionaire investor?s Open Society Foundation (OSF) is set to match a crowdfunding campaign set up in the wake of attacks on Soros, which has already raised more than £50,000 since his support was revealed on Wednesday last week.

An Australian has decided the result of UK elections for the last 30 years.

Why should an American not stick his oar in ?

Anyway it is google, facebook, and apple you really need to worry about.

You know, the ones that pay zero UK tax despite making gazillions there. The ones with the off shore hoards of cash larger the the GDP of a medium sized country.

You just dont like Soros funding something because his views dont align with your narrow
nasty outlook.

Who do you think bank rolled the brexit campaign ?

90% of Alt right websites have the Murdoch mark on them as well, so yes between his rags and website web you will bend over and do exactly what Rupert wants. And if you wont.. he will brain wash the masses against you. Did it in Aus, did it in the UK and now he's doing it in the USA. I find it humorous in the USA when they talk of deep state and don't realise that's exactly what they fucking elected in.

Long live King Rupert.! Manipulating governments and leaders for 50 years all around the globe.

He did it in Canada in 2015 as well.

Or he simply reflects the mood of the people. And that is they are sick of liberals who don't address the needs of the people who vote for them.

So he gives you a bogeyman to blame your defeats on.

Most people read the newspapers or watch the media that reflects their views. They, in turn, feed the people with the news that will keep them watching and attract more like-minded people.

It's only the idiot fringe who do it the other way. It's far too easy to find if the news is true or not today. But it gives the losing side a bogeyman to blame their defeat on.

If it were true Brexit or Trump etc wouldn't be happening as most of the media is still against them.

I watch the media read some papers, I'm not so stupid to know how people buy the news the news they want to read. Only a moron would have his views swayed by what he read in the papers. Thank you for identifying yourself.

So post information that shows I'm wrong. Importing low skilled migrants is detrimental to the economy of a country. Now prove me wrong.

Islam has been at war with itself and non-Islamic countries since the reign of Mohammed. Now prove me wrong.

I get my news from various sources.

The Independent | News | UK and Worldwide News | Newspaper

The Telegraph - Telegraph Online, Daily Telegraph, Sunday Telegraph - Telegraph

Home - BBC News

Maybe it's you and Newnick who are swayed by what you read in one or two newspapers and assume it's everyone.

Your knowledge of history is weak. But I guess that's surprising given your lack of reading and comprehension skills.

First off I would consider him Hungarian more so then an American.

Secondly, if I remember what I read about him correctly I believe he spent a fair amount of time in the UK before moving to the US.

So while I don't agree with Soros on a number of things, I would think he has a keen interest in what happens with the UK.

quote from the link I posted, because you lack reading and comprehension skills:

During its history, British forces or forces with a British mandate have invaded, had some control over or fought conflicts in 171 of the world's 193 countries that are currently UN member states, or nine out of ten of all countries.[1]

now 193-171 = 22 <---the total number of countries never invaded by the brits....

That doesn't answer my question. So I guess you agree with me.

Why did Serbia attack Bosnia? Was it for reasons dating back to the Ottoman Empire and their occupation of the Balkans?
