YouTube star who said veganism and praying had cured her of cancer dies of cancer

A YouTube star who claimed a vegan lifestyle cured her breast cancer has died of cancer.

... Mari also revealed that she completely skipped cancer treatment as recommended by her doctors.

"It's my choice, I've been okay, I haven't died, I haven't gotten to the hospital... I am going to continue on this path of going natural," Mari said at the time, "It's over, it is done with, I am healed. I feel it in my spirit and in my body."

Mari Lopez's niece says veganism could still have saved her aunt if her carer hadn?t fed her meat

:1orglaugh Jesus, some people really are imbeciles..

This, Liz claims, coupled with the use of a microwave to cook the food, is what ultimately led to her aunt?s demise.
Ok, so she died due to her microwave owen and meat. :1orglaugh

She died staying true to her beliefs. Probably a stupid thing to do but I've seen stupider :)

Can't hate. Maybe others will be saved by her trying (and failing).

Another victim of people like wehateporn who spread this bullshit.

Thats the problem with these idiots - kill yourself with a non-vaccine alternative lifestyle if you want, but shut the fuck up about it and stop spreading your bullshit.

Even if "going natural" cure cancer, that does not mean how it will prevent it's return, that is why it is required to always check your health after having cancer for first time.

Yes it seems they dont realize how even if getting autism from vaccines is true, it's better to get autism then die.

A vote for Trump is a declaration of your own shortcomings. (Charlie Sheen)

:2 cents:

It reminds me of when Steve Jobs was diagnosed with cancer. It is incredibly rare that pancreatic cancer is found early enough to treat it. His was and, he went holistic instead. By the time he realized he couldn't do it on his own, it was too late. It is sad. It has worked for some people but, not most. I don't get off into politics but it cracks me up that you are quoting Charlie Sheen. I happen to like the guy and, am rooting for him to be okay some day. But, he isn't one to be giving advice on anything other than how to pick up hookers.

^^ This ^^

People who want to believe in bullshit even though science tells them otherwise and even though it kills them, are sad.

But people who create an spread nonsense deserve to be thrown the fuck in jail and sued into oblivion.

Mark, serious question - how many genders are there?

Maybe they cancer before they went vegan?

I'm vegan and I'm fine, although it's only been two months. It's really not a big deal.

I just read an article the other day that said they did a twenty year study in France and discovered that people who eat processed food had a much higher rate of cancer.

Chemo is far from perfect, but there aren't a lot of options that actually work.

It also depend on what kind of cancer do you have, some are simply incurable no matter what, like pancreas cancer.

What did they classify as processed food? Meat, chicken, fish, eggs, etc., are not processed foods.

Pretty much all food is processed:

Here is a link to the study: https://www.cnn.com/2018/02/14/healt...udy/index.html

And yes processed food can be made out of those, but those are raw products

I assume we would have to call steak and chicken breasts processed too because they have to be cleaned and cut.

If everything is processed then the word really has no meaning in this context.

NEED4SPEED 02-22-2018 09:37 PM

Arrggh....People 'F-k' the symantics. The processed foods with the GMO's, petri-dish grown veggies & incredible HULK steroid meats..ARE KILLIN YUS, slowly & we're paying $$ to have it done.

Whether you wanna admit it or not, there's a reason you can't friggin' pronounce half the words on the back label of your food. I'm no Elon Musk genius BUT it's plainly obvious.

The problem with meat these days is what it is being fed and, what type of hormones and antibiotics is is being shot up with.

As far as I know in EU hormones can't be used and antibiotics only if it's really needed (but chickens have to be off the drug many weeks before slaughter).. but of course not everyone obeys the law :)

Kudos to the EU for this. It is a real problem in the US. Practices in both the meat and, dairy industry are highly questionable here.

Animals on antibiotics are not sent to market until the antibiotics have run their course and are no longer in the animals system.

Hormones I can see being problematic but I think it may be over-hyped a bit. I think it may be worse in the US than it is here in Canada.

Her nice, blamed her own mother for triggering Mari's relapse by feeding her meat and microwaved food. WTF, this is for real??? So angry right now...people do have mental issues...

It could be over hyped. It is difficult to know what to believe any more. It is highly questionable what animals are being fed, as well as injected with. In the US, the FDA is not our friend. They are only the FDA's friend. There is a lot of cross interest between the FDA and, GMO friendly Monsanto. I've been a vegetarian for many years. But, when I make meat or, pick up dairy for my family, I try to be as careful as possible. I have a vacation home in a rural area of Tennessee. It is great because local farms are not difficult to find. You can literally go to a farm and, pick up a cartoon of eggs, while watching their chickens hang out and, roam around. Even then, the farmers could be giving the chickens crack for all I know. But, it feels much better to pick up produce at a farm you can eyeball. This year, I will be taking my first attempt at all organic vegetable gardening with no falling back on Miracle Grow or commercial pesticides. Should be an interesting experiment.

Here's a rational take it the subject, from a Canadian perspective at least:
