I started to post on a different board.
 

GFY has been the only board I posted on for years.
I guess I just liked it here; but now I'm trying a different board and I don't
see a lot of racist post by people who think I'm brassmonkey so it's great.

I think I will really enjoy a message board where I don't have to see a bunch of racist shit
all day.

The only other BBS I've been on is AWI. That was before GFY. That's back when MET art got called out for their disgusting shit.

Don't let it bother you. I've been called Chinaman, gook and chink from kids since the third grade. In Junior high it all changed to cracker, nazi, or racist.

People in general are shit. Everyone you meet in life will only care what you can do for them or what they can take from you. Get yourself a dog.

Racist/ethnic stuff and politics... let's remove that and GFY will be much nicer place.

...oh and sexual orientation/gender identity discrimination/personal attacks, this happens here not so rarely for the last 2 years... which is really beyond me. Adult industry board should be the very last place for this kind of shit.

Much more political now, however, all of the old timers are - well - older now and more into politics than we were twenty years ago.

I remember GFY with a bunch of logo contests that I used to get into. A lot of clients who found me thru GFY. That was around 12-15 years ago were "business" is the main topic throughout the board.. Oh well.. :(

I always paid for my logos (cyberhustler). Don't remember who you guys are, but thanks. I get them from fiverr now tho. Logos I use to pay $100~ for are now just 5 bucks. Sorry.

When you spot racism be sure to let Eric know. If you're complaining about the number of posts who are anti-migration, anti-Muslim, anti-globalisation. I actually got paid with the ones that I've join and won. Maybe I just know how to choose what logo contests I join to. Also, It's one way of getting new clients too. Good ol days where I average 2 to 4 inquiries a day..

If memory serves I was paid 3/5 times on GFY contests.

I spent a lot of time on adultdesigns instead...and made a fair bit of extra coin on there for a few years. It was all sideline stuff - our adult sites were the mainstay at the time.

It was just good practice mostly.
