The only reason he is talking to Kim to finally find out where to get that haircut.

If he is able to broker a quality deal that includes N.Korea removing their nukes it will be a huge HUGE win for him and his presidency. I'm not holding my breath, but it would be cool if this happened.

CNN is reporting it and they are reporting that CIA director secretly met with Kim Jong Un over the Easter holiday. . . that seems a little odd, but if it works, cool.

Trump has already met with him as well. That tidbit probably won't be reported but if you know what to look for it's pretty obvious. China set it up.....

Nothing you say is believable because you lie here everyday & pushed PizzaGate as being real for months. You also said Clinton was going to jail and was going to be charged and said American astronauts never landed on the moon. You also say you're American but post on Russian troll time., Defending Putin everyday.

Mr anonymous wants us to believe him without him telling us his name, business name, site urls, and city or state. Mr anonymous posters don't get our trust it's not the 1990's :1orglaugh :winkwink:

In Trump's "Thank you Asia" post. Skip to 37 seconds in the video. There's a picture of North Korea as they are flying by. His flight took around an hour longer than it should have on his way to Thailand. He posted his departure and arrival time on twitter

South Korean president credits Trump with bringing North Korea to the table

I bet in your wildest dreams you never thought Trump would be part of ending a 40 year war between North and South Korea. :thumbsup

Had I been forced to bet on it I would have said the odds were better that he would have us invade not find some kind of peace.

However, I'm waiting until it actually happens before I give credit. We've heard plenty of promises from Trump that have not come true so until it is a done deal I will remain skeptical.

North Korea want the silly war games with the USA and the South to end, they have never come out and threatened anyone recently.. unless they were first being provoked.

China more than anyone wants to resolve North Korean issues and help them rebuild, NK is a huge source of cheap labour for them and a land they have no issues polluting too fuck. North Koreans don't have much choice in that, they need the money. But more than anything China will want to build a military base.. right across the road from Japan ;), I can't see China helping North Korea much unless they get that.

So peace deal or not there lays the problem, how many trillions of dollars is the USA willing to throw at North Korea, because if you don't... China is already waiting with a cheque in hand... and that creates a bigger problem..

North Koreans are quiet happy to keep building nukes and increasing their military, anything but that would take a lot of persuading to hold face to the people of North Korea from Kim. Yet Trumps in the situation if he wins and brokers a deal.. as OP says he'll probably get the Nobel peace prize and gain enough faith in the USA to keep him in power. But if it falls on its ass the results could be catastrophic, especially if.. China moves into protect them.. in exchange for a military base opposite Japan..

Note both scenarios end up with, China having a base in NK and the only way to prevent that is how much money is one willing to spend.

I wish the Trump admin all the luck in the world! But the reality is Kim just holds Trump by the nuts now, will he squeeze them or not? And how much is Trump willing to bend to save face and be the hero to the American public?

But you can't with out bringing in China and Russia to North Koreas aid, any action on North Korea directly affects them, and scarifying South Korea and possibly Japan so that's a total stalemate of chest beating words.

It's a bit like Syria, no solution is a good solution, everything comes with consequences. Difference is North Korea is "locked and loaded" on other countries and on multiple fronts, USA can fire 100 nukes at them, and North Korea is still going to get a hit somewhere... Most likely Chemical or Biological forget the fucking nukes.

Remove North Korea from the equation for a second and think, whose getting military bases in NK in the aftermath, will it be USA or China, because that's the reality of it and either causes a lot more problems than North Korea its self.

Any deal needs to be closely watched as to where Trump compromises because he needs this to be a success more than anyone, and Kim will certainly know that.

What part seems odd; that they did it over Easter?

When I wrote that I didn't realize that the head of the CIA was Trump's pick to be the next Sec. State so it seemed odd that they would send the head of the CIA, but it makes sense once I realized who he is.
