How Do They Hide This Information?
 

Lately, most spam comes from no address. I can’t respond, can’t report it, can’t get an IP. They appear as NFL-News <NFL-News> wrote rather than [email protected]. How is email sent without a return address?

I’m on the iPad and haven’t checked in Windows yet. I’ll do that in an hour or so. Don’t know if it makes a difference.

Years ago I began with Eudora. Click and the full IP showed. Right click for originating IP, in case they spoofed. Easy to drop a note to the host and upstream provider and SpamCop.
