How do people like Nancy Pelosi, Dianne Feinstein, etc keep winning elections?!
How is this even possible?
Am I reading this right that Nancy Pelosi has been in congress since 1987 and Feinstein has been a senator since 1992?! WTF ? How is this possible? How is there not someone else to run against them of all the people in California? And McCain has been a senator since 1987?! Look at this list of longest tenured politcians and these two aren't even near the top: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...ity_of_service It just doesn't seem possible or make much sense to me and 95% of them are liberal democrats...after ALL those years there is not ANYONE who can beat them??? |
It's very simple.
Take Pelosi as an example. She is from a very liberal district, likely one of the most liberal districts in the nation. This means that the people there are never going to vote for a Republican. The only danger Pelosi has is from an independent or another Democrat. Most Democrats don't bother to run against her because she is so established they will likely get crushed and any independent is going to have to be able to raise or have a ton of money. Some of these people just find themselves in places where there isn't much in the way of competition and the voter make up makes it easy for them to stay in office. |
Feinstein just tried to insinuate that they kept the Trump investigation secret to help Trump. That bitch is a traitor.
