Well lying to the feds will typically get you probation, so in his case they really did throw the book at him :1orglaugh

More importantly the judge said he found "no Russia collusion" in his case.

Congratulations. Your love for letting criminals out of jail is noticed.

This is exactly what this is. Flip and cooperate and you get much less of a sentence.

Keep in mind, this man is cooperating with Mueller, and claims he was in touch with Russian agents who were passing him information to bring back to the Trump campaign.

I'm sorry, but if this is the case and no one reported this to the FBI.... A lot of people are going to go to prison.

Typical first time offenders with no criminal history walk with probation, horseshit breath.

She wasn't only charged with lying.

After a highly publicized six-week jury trial, Stewart was found guilty in March 2004 of felony charges of conspiracy, obstruction of an agency proceeding, and making false statements to federal investigators, and was sentenced in July 2004 to serve a five-month term in a federal correctional facility and a two-year period of supervised release (to include five months of electronic monitoring).
