Stevie Ray would have been 64 today.
I miss that guy.

My favorite from him. I miss him too.
I'm an introvert and love listening to this song when alone. Great way to recharge. |

I like the Eric Clapton version too. But nobody did it better than Hendrix himself. You can practically feel the sadness when Hendrix did it. RIP Stevie Ray Vaughn. By the way if you like SRV...check out his performances at Austin City Limits: https://www.youtube.com/results?sear...cit y+limits+ |

Grossly underrated. The voice was awesome but his guitar playing was amazing. The combination made you FEEL the words in the song. He knew the roots of rock and played it well.
I remember hearing about the crash that killed him. I think it was on MTV the announcement came through. He’d just begun to build a large following and get the recognition he deserved. RIP. You, Hendrix, Keith Moon, Janis Joplin, David Bowie, Freddie Mercury. ... Heaven has one hell of a rock and roll band. 🎤🎧🎹🥁🎷🎺🎸🎻💿📀💽💔💔 |

I caught his show in 1987 on the Live Alive tour. He hardly spoke a word but delivered everything through that guitar. It was Friday the 13th and full moon that night. Everything just came together. Epic. |
Never heard of him

I'm not a "he's my hero" kinda guy, but I have a few. SRV is one of them.
Amazing guitar-player sorely missed Jolly |
