Our industry used to be all about hits. "How much traffic can you send me". Send someone a hit, or a thousand hits, and they would try to convert it for you. That's where it ends.

Now our industry is all about information. Why have a single hit that is gone when instead... If you have their email address you can continue to have a long term relationship with the customer. Do you want one hit, or do you want their email address where you can turn it into dozens of hits or hundreds of hits?
