Linkspun questions
Hello,
How do you accept trades in linkspun? I have a request, but could not find where to accept it :( Any help would be appreciated... |
|
From what I remember, that shit was abandoned a long ass time ago with randoms trying hard to keep it alive.
Correct me if I'm wrong. |
look up at the top of that page and you will see the button for add trade next to each of the sites that the person that requested the link has to offer. Once you choose 1 or more of them, then you select where you want it to point to your page, and accept :)
Good Luck :thumbsup |

Thanks.
The thing is he is requesting a link to his site A, but then in the add trade section, site A is not found, I can just add trade to other sites. Is that normal? |

I can't add trade from the link he wants me to link to.
Does this mean he has it hidden? |

Oh wow, and how to create these?

My suggestion is to not do AB trades anyway, google can sniff that type of trade out very easily. Your best trade is an ABCD trade, that is where parnter1 links his siteA to link partner2 siteB, and then partner2 links siteC to partner1's siteD. Kind of confusing, but much harder to get penalized when doing trades this way :) :2 cents: |

Yes, I imagine.
So you just hide your good sites? |

Within LS once your trading with someone on a regular basis, you can click on just their name, and it pulls up their profile. There is a section call "Profile Action Center" under that you can allow them to see your hidden, or block them if they are being a pain in the ass asking for links all the time and you don't want them to see you any longer :) It takes a little work, but I've found a few trading partners that have been worth my time working the links on LS. :thumbsup |
The idea behind hidden sites: you have a site that you want links into, but you don't want to give links from. In the easiest example, say RK.com wants links into it, but obviously they don't want their pay site to have a bunch of links to other people, so they give you links back from a blog network they run.
So they get links into their 'money site' and give links from their blog network. If you are doing the same, this is a=>b c=>d linking. |

He explained it way better than I did :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh :thumbsup |
Is it worth using these days? I have an old account but so many dead trades and the system is a pain to remove dead trades.. so probably would require a new account
|
stop using that long time ago
