Trump admin has given a contract to a company in Ireland to hire 7,500 US boarder patrol agents.

The entire contract is worth $297 million dollars. That means Trump admin agreed to pay this company $40k per person (in theory) just to find people to work. That money doesn't cover the actual cost to employe these agents..

So yea he's paying a foreign company $40k per person to hire 7500 boarder patrol agents in the US.


The company has had the contract 10 months so far and has been paid $13 million dollars already.



They have successfully hired 2 agents in 10 months for the cost of $13 million dollars to the tax payers.. Not including the salary of the agents.


Trump's great negotiation skills didnt even get a performance based contract. They get paid the $297 million over 5 years if they hire 7500 agents or 2....

It's not a bad idea to hire a company to fine border patrol agents because we badly need them. However, this is a perfect example of the supreme dealmaker making yet another shitty deal. Reminds me of that deal in Wisconsin where they gave billions to a company that was supposed to create 40,000 jobs and instead, once they had the money, the company built the factory, filled it with robots and ended up only hiring around 3,000 people.

Oh trust me.. with out a fucking doubt it's almost 100% guarantee the company that got this contract is connected to Trump financially in some mannor.. They are members of his club or have connections to someone he needs something from..

I could only imagine how difficult it is to hire Border Patrol agents. It's a crappy, thankless job. It's shitty hours, shitty pay, and you work in shitty locations. No one wants to work for the Border Patrol.

With that said... This is a horrible deal for the US Government. Something needs to be done.

I bet if they hired the caravan to patrol the border... They'd actually do the job, do it better and do it cheaper.

I've always been for fiscal responsibility.. Its you dumb right wing nuts who have zero clue as to what that means.

It doesn't mean cutting spending on everything you dont like then spending that same money to support nonsense policies that cater to a political ideology, but rather spending wisely.

Example single payer healthcare is fiscally responsible because it lowers heathcare costs overall. Making higher education accessible and affordable is fiscally responsible because it's a investment into our country's future. Just the same as sponsoring trade schools and unions is fiscally conservative because it again allows us to build a stronger country and economy.


Paying $40k per person as a finders fee to hire boarder agents to support political ideology is wasteful and those involved should be investigated to see if bribery was involved.
