Worst Christmas present.
 

I got a $310 ticket for expired registration. Expired since September. They almost towed my car but I proved I had paid my insurance bringing up my online banking account. Cop lady was nice a few weeks I would have got away with but 4 months she had to fine me for it. No mail reminders I need to set up text or email service. I never or rarely even drive my car. And my son used to work at a motor vehicle registration office.

Clean breatherizer. We were actually on the way to dinner tonight.

Towed car on Christmas what could be worse. It’s crazy you blow for alcohol but not prescription drugs weed they do a saliva test now it’s legal in Canada.

Got a brand new AC system last summer. Woke up yesterday morning (Christmas) and the house was freezing. They put a separate breaker by the new furnace/air handler in the crawlspace under the house, so I had to climb under the house to reset that before showering and getting on the road to visit family. Came home after midnight to a house that was still freezing and had to reset it again.

But, you know, these are first world problems. I have a roof over my head and a warm (99% of the time) place to sleep without having to worry about my next meal or personal safety, so I'm pretty thankful.

I got a small box of shit once.

Secret Santa at college in a telecommunications class. Person who got me was a guy I’d dated. Gave me a box of fake, dried shit. I laughed at the fact he got ME and people in the class called HIM a piece of shit for weeks.

I got nothing. Don't know if it qualifies.
