soyoustart dedicated server dmca policy ?

i just noticed they have essential servers with great specs and are available, unlike game servers which are always sold out.

i am looking at dedicated server in canada., E5-SSD-1-64

but i would like to know ,

how they handle dmca ?
do they forward the complaint to the server admin? or just pull the plug ? or nullroute it ?

i have heard some host will just pull the plug if it gets too many dmca takedown requests even if you follow and take down content.

so what does your experience say ?

i even tried to contact them about the same, but have not received reply yet.

edit: i am gonna follow DMCA , thats not the question, question is whether too many complaints can get my server pulled ? i am trying to set cj tube. so majority content will be embeds.

thanks for your time.

You will get an email from the OVH Abuse Support Team.

They will ask you to reply and say what you have done to remedy the situation.

I don't know what happens if you get a lot of notices, I've only had a handful.

One was from a porn actress featured in a well known affiliate program ad banner :helpme

I have a cluster of bare metal servers that index and store the contents of the adult web. That's why I have so many.

This year I will be releasing some porn/adult specific SAAS products for webmasters that rely on that data.

I also have a few GPU servers running a neural network.

OVH shift servers that have been replaced by newer servers over to SoYouStart. These servers have previously been in the OVH server pool and have probably already returned a profit.

Rather than discard the servers, OVH have budget server offerings Kimsufi & SoYouStart to continue to profit from those servers.

gee, server costs must be expensive, if you have 30 box cluster , i wonder how many boxes does google has for their search.

i have been planinng to learn more about AI , DL . but i will get to it, after all my pending projects go live.,

thanks .

.

Just to be clear, I never said I had 30, I said in that post you're referring to I had more than 30, I wont say how many precisely. That's just at OVH. I have others for different purposes at SoYouStart.

Google has many more servers by an order of magnitude, but they index the whole web and they are much more sophisticated than my indexing operation is.

Ai is a deep rabbit hole, once you go down it there's a huge amount of potential but it's difficult to apply it to real world applications until you've spent years learning different languages, techniques and models. I run several big GPU servers at OVH and they are the best value for high workload GPU applications unless you go onto someone else's cloud. So for my own isolated work I have a cluster of GPU servers at OVH.

I also have some containers on the NVIDIA GPU CLOUD, you can run containers with almost any stack you can think of. Currently I'm running TesorFlow, TensorRT and Caffe2 containers.

You don't have to be a pirate to get DMCA notices.

Plenty of stories of cam girls sending DMCA notices to affiliates.

Plenty of stories about automated DMCA notices affecting affiliates.

Lots of people abuse DMCA.

DMCA is not a way for regretful models to wipe themselves from websites as if they had never done adult.

DMCA is not for authorised affiliate content.

So many scenarios, so many bad actors.
