Anyone from YouPorn / HubTraffic here? The YouPorn API is returning incorrect results for thumbnails
I tried emailing through the contact form, but have received no response.
I have noticed an error in the YouPorn API. When the thumbsize parameter is set to 'medium2' (which should return 320x240 thumbs), the API returns the 'medium' thumbs (227x128) instead. https://www.youporn.com/api/webmaste...mbsize=medium2 Only if the thumbsize parameter is set to 'all' does it return the correct 'medium2' 320x240 thumbs (along with all other thumb sizes). https://www.youporn.com/api/webmaste...&thumbsize=all |

(the tags are fucked up such that, if a tag is multiple words like "big boobs", it will show up as two tags--"big" and "boobs"--with no way to tell that the two words are supposed to be part of one tag) |

I really doubt anyone from the dev team over at MindGeek will see this thread. |

The last emails received from this wanker were trying to sell Tube Ace built sites. :helpme The code is garbage anyway, no wonder he needs help with JSON. WP-Script is a much better solution, with quick support and it's got real lifetime updates. |

AdultKing, I send out free upgrades to anyone who requests them. In fact, I just sent one out a few minutes ago. I would prefer they fix the API than have to modify the code. Not to mention anyone else using the API may not realize the issue.
Profits Of Doom, I have thousands of customers and try my best to reply to all support requests promptly. I am also available on ICQ and Skype. |

As for the API, just fix your code, it's such a trivial thing anyway. Or can't you code? Don't bother answering that, it was a rhetorical question. |

The plugin updates are now done automatically since version 2.0 and switching to Easy Digital Downloads last year. Anyone who requested an update has received one. Did you check your spam folder? Sometimes emails with ZIP files are marked as spam. |

I've written off the original payment, which was for unlimited sites, free updates yada yada You've changed the script to a plugin, changed the plugin to per site licensing, dropped unlimited sites. Your script isn't competitive, it's badly coded, I use WP-Script now. I regret buying from you originally but that's on me. I wouldn't install your code on any of my Wordpress sites if you had the last tube plugin in existence. |

Dude, learn some customer support etiquette. It is not your customer's responsibility to debug your support system for you. They also do not want to hear excuses blaming the API. The only proper response to POD and AK is: I am sorry you are having issues. Please give me your email and I will make sure that you have the latest updates and will make sure you are set up for automatic updates in the future. just imho, of course. . |

*Edit* I just now received the upgrade, so obviously it was never going to my spam folder... |

Unencoded Source Code! Unlimited Domain License $200 (LIMITED TIME!) What I now have Here is your license key for Tube Ace WordPress Plugin - Single Site - Lifetime: :error I use MechBunny (great support unlimited sites forever updates) and WP-Script (great support unlimited sites forever updates) and paid for TubeAce (never worked properly, unlimited sites, unencoded script - but what I have now is a one site license for probably the worst plugin ever written for Wordpress). I heap praise on people who do good stuff, see my recent MechBunny thumbs up post, or my comments in the WP-Script thread. On the other hand I've see so many people have issues with Tube Ace. So don't take this post as anything other than fair criticism. Fuck you Chris H. |

https://bbspics.com/images/2019/01/19/tubeace.jpg What has happened though is that you have dropped the ball on support for as long as you've been around. You also changed your licensing and have not honoured what people originally paid for. |

The $200 price was for the standalone version only which was released over 10 years ago in 2008, before the WordPress version was available starting in 2013. Are you now admitting you did have the Wordpress version update all along? Yes, there were some issues in previous versions as all software tends to have which I have worked diligently to solve. WP Script has had their issues as well. Do you have any issues with the current version? If so, I would love to hear them Robert K. |

https://bbspics.com/images/2019/01/1...1.32.57-pm.png Fact is I paid for an unlimited license, unencoded script with unlimited updates. What I have now is a single domain license for a Wordpress plugin. Now I have the current version I'll audit your code and return to this thread in the next few days with my comments. Given that you've released the script under the GPL, what's to stop people just giving it away and removing the EDD licensing? |
Looks like he needs to hire more support reps
|
Check the dates of that screenshot, which shows 2 people out of thousands of customers over the course of 10 years.
As I mentioned previously in this thread, last year I switched over to Easy Digital Downloads which makes pushing new updates a breeze since the update can be done in the WP admin as a regular free plugin. https://tubeace.com/wp-content/uploa...ck-updates.png You purchased the standalone version which was a separate product before the WordPress version was created. Why are you still complaining after I gave you a copy of a software product you didn't purchase? |
I haven't tried yet but I noticed this:

Let's see some support problems. Like the one where you posted someone's site url publicly when being called out for lousy support? Quote:

Yes, I have tested and everything works on the current version of WordPress 5.0.3.

So what's the story with GPL licensing? What's the point of EDD then? When did your unlimited sites license become single site? Quote:
Edit: I did some digging. I paid for the Tube Ace Script which you discontinued and provided crap support for. Then I was foolish enough to pay you again for a plugin that you said was 100% Unencrypted Source Code, Unlimited Domain License, Free Lifetime Updates!, Free Email & IM support over ICQ/Skype. Trouble is you went and changed the rules, you changed the terms upon which you sold the script originally thus fucking over people who supported you early on. Tell me why I shouldn't just clean up the code and release it on GitHub as an open source project? It is GPL anyway, as it says in the source and readme files. |
Are you actually being serious? So now you're saying you purchased the WordPress version too? The point of EDD is to handle the plugin orders, downloads and updates more smoothly. Isn't that obvious to someone of your high intellect?

So the best you can do is pull up a thread from over 5 years ago, where the issue was resolved and the buyer said he didn't mind me posting the URL to a public website?
https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/...ordpress-theme https://www.dummies.com/web-design-d...s-and-plugins/ Unlimited licenses have been discontinued since version 2.0 was released. |

When I bought it you were promising 100% Unencrypted Source Code, Unlimited Domain License, Free Lifetime Updates!, Free Email & IM support over ICQ/Skype. |
Yes, you have unlimited domains for your license. You haven't activated any yet.

Here is your license key for Tube Ace WordPress Plugin - Single Site - Lifetime: Don't worry though, your project is probably going to be forked and available for free. It's GPL so don't be concerned, we'll include your original source as per GPL. |
