Other than posting videos online and using Instagram are there other ways you use to get traffic to your mainstream blogs? I recently started one a couple weeks ago...

Used to do this through SEO. During the recession I ran a chain of main stream blogs aimed at re-refinancing homes. Lots of people were losing their homes so everyone was searching for it.

Running Wordpress? Install Jetpack and use the 'Publicize' feature. It publishes your posts to your site's FB, Twitter, Tumblr, & a few other places. Focus on getting likes to the Facebook page and then buy FB ads that promote the offer. Post to the wordpress blog often for the SEO juice

Create good content and you can get links just for it being good. Do guest posts on other blogs. Twitter posts. Link directories. Create ads in places that lets you have a link. Build feeder blogs on free platforms. Do some google'ing on linkbuilding to get SE traffic etc.
