I get what you think ,as VAT can be deducted so technically it's not real cost, but it's extra work hence i rather avoid such services where i need to deal with it.

If you are outside of the EU then they won't charge you VAT, you pay net price. Also in many cases if you are in the EU and have a VAT number you get billed internationally as net price and then sort out VAT locally. Even with the VAT it's dirt cheap, though.

Use M3 Server, it will cost you very less. $12 only.

They're not servers, they are virtual machines. OVH have bare metal servers under $50US

I recently realised that my soyoustart server is the exact same spec you can order on the "budget, BUDGET" arm of OVH, kimsufi - maybe it's time to migrate to something newer...

Yeah it's always worth checking. I typically migrate by servers once every two years as I can get better servers at better prices with both OVH and SoYouStart. I have a Kimsufi account but prefer 250Mbps over 100Mbps between So You Start and Kimsufi.
