Man arrested for projecting porn on his garage door for neighborhood "porn night"

A Virginia man is behind bars after projecting a porno film on his garage door in full view of his neighbors, police allege.

Antonio Smallwood, 41, was arrested Wednesday evening in connection with the al fresco 7 PM screening on a tidy Newport News street. A patrolman responded to the block after a 911 call reported "pornographic material being displayed," cops say.

"Upon arrival, the officer observed a movie involving sexual activity being projected on the garage door of the residence," according to police. At that point, a cop sought to serve Smallwood with a summons. But when the film enthusiast refused to sign the summons, he was arrested.

Charged with obscene sexual display and obstruction of justice, Smallwood was booked into the local jail.

Smallwood, who is being held without bond, is scheduled for a March 8 court appearance.

Seen above, Smallwood used a home cinema projector to screen the adult movie, details of which have not been released by investigators.

The projector remains on the front porch of Smallwood’s home since he was collared by Newport News Police Department officers before getting the chance to return the equipment indoors.

He was watching porn, so is that why he's not a Trump supporter?

The only thing I can think that would cause him to be held without bond is that city or state requires he sign the summons and he's being held till he signs or the March 8th court date.

When I was 12 or 13 a friend of mine found his father's 8mm porn films. The guy invited all his friends over to watch one night when his parents went out. All the walls were dark paneling, as was the norm in the early 70's, so he used a window shade to project the film onto. 5 minutes after starting the film the next door neighbor lady came over and made her son go home cuz she saw everything on the other side of the shade when she was doing her dishes. All our parents got calls from her that night.

I read another article about this guy and evidently he has a history of wild unstable behavior like exiting his house and randomly yelling, starting a bonfire in his driveway, etc. Not sure how all that that impacts bond. Maybe he didn't show on a previous summons?

Ya, that would make sense if he failed to appear in other cases.

Probably thought it sounded like a funny idea, but what about people in the neighborhood who's kids may of seen what he was projecting, I would assume people have kids that live in his street, totally illegal and wrong.
