photoshop color issues
I am working with photoshop 7 and have a specific color that's on a web page that i'm trying to make a button for. When I use the hex value for the color I come up with a different color in my photoshop regardless of whether I use rgp or indexed color. It's driving me up the wall. Anyone know how to tweak the color settings in case it's gotten out of line?

is it possible that you've "only Web colors" checked? If not, just do the simpliest thing, this is bullet proof: make a capture of the web page, paste in a new document and simply select the color you need from that web page with the eyedrop tool

1st post hello everyone
just take a screen shot of the webpage .. by hitting "Prt Scr/Sys Rq" button open photoshop, select new.. hit "ctrl+v" to paste the SS.. then simply use the eyedropper (color picker) to select the color you want from the website in the SS. Then build you're button once the color is selected. **ohwell was beat by a faster typer :1orglaugh |

ok I went into edit color settings and just turned color management off and that seemed to take care of the issue it was set to web settings default for some reason beyond me. This is the first time i've had the problem so I can't imagine how it got set that way. Damn gremlins in my computer
