TL, DR version is - I didn't make the bet, I accepted it - with a single stipulation (which was mutually agreed on and accepted).

Then the nics dismissed that stipulation, citing some obscure gambling law, and immediately declared themselves the winner.. Immediately after (and in unison) "pay up, pay up, bet welcher etc".

Just the usual Bladewire Media manipulative guff.
