what level of file destruction do you use...
I wanted to get rid of that video of that well know r&b singer on my computer so I used the Department of Defense 5220.220-M standards destruction method.....
I have two higher options...the standard that exceeds the DOD standard, which "demagnitizes" the drive and I have the Peter Guttman method, which takes a hella long time but the file can't be recovered with even the highest sophisticated shit... What do y'all use? |

Im looking for something that will automatically encrypt on the fly with multiple random encryption schemes, THEN have it overwrite it Guttman style. My version of Guttman is 35 passes, I dont know if thats the norm, and that shit can take a long time.
My guess is then if for some odd reason they did manage to pull it off the drive, they are then faced with a file thats been randomly encrypted several times. Do that to my cache once a day, and that would be like 5000 items a day they would be sorting through. Would be utterly hopeless on their behalf. I am also looking for a good fast slack wiper. |
I can already see it on Cops next week...
BVF busted with CP.... |
