I walk the dog to the beach most everyday on a trail alongside the Monarch Beach golf course, tons of people say hi, we talk. I end up at the beach with my dog, the waves crashing. Sit, relax, ponder, walk back home.

No racial tension or anxiety. Same when I lived in Australia, but I lived on the water there I didn't have to walk to the beach.
