I knew it would only be a matter of time that we would see Democrats trying to remove Washington from history. One of the greatest men, our founding father that fought and created the greatest country on the planet, they want to remove him.

The left wants to flood our country full of illegals, remove the 1st and second amendments and now want to erase our founding fathers from history.

The left is now a sworn enemy of the US.

Laura Dudnick, a spokeswoman for the district, told educational watchdog the College Fix via email Thursday that Mr. Arnautoff’s work was debated by a “‘Reflection and Action Working Group’ that was comprised of members of the local Native American community, students, school representatives, district representatives, local artists, and historians.”

Four public meetings were held on the matter between December 2018 and February 2019.

The group claims the mural “glorifies slavery, genocide, colonization, manifest destiny, white supremacy, oppression, etc.,” the Richmond District Blog recently reported.

“At its conclusion, the group voted and the majority recommended that the ‘Life of Washington’ mural be archived and removed because the mural does not represent SFUSD values,” Ms. Dudnick continued. “The superintendent and staff are now reviewing the recommendation and considering the best course of action. At this time there hasn’t yet been any recommendation put forth before the SF Board of Education on this matter.”

Historian Fergus M. Bordewich told the College Fix that SFUSD has fallen victim to “a deeply wrongheaded habit to project today’s norms, values, ideals backwards in time to find our ancestors inevitably falling short.”

Nope I don't support the removal of the George Washington murals that's stupid and it concerns me.

They are actually 9 different paintings of history back then and shows slaves and Indians as they were at that time in history.

It's not a mural of George Washington like your alt right alternative news article would imply.

Earlier today Grapefruit Juice called me a "bigot" because I was "not open to the ideas of others". Okay.... So I read the article and I'm like "Why would anyone be offended by murals of George Washington?". So, I did some research.

This is what is called "fake news". You posted an article that makes it look like "Democrats want to remove murals of our founding father George Washington". That's not the truth at all. If it was simply a mural of George Washington, it be fine. However, we can all agree we shouldn't have murals of George Washington directing US Troops to attack kill Indians - with one Indian dead on the ground.

We need to teach our kids our history, but we don't need to ram our worst moments down their throats every day in the form of large murals.
