Judge rules banks must give the Trump family financial records to congress

Another day and Trump and his children lose yet another lawsuit. When will the Trump family learn they're not above the law?

The judge just ruled that the banks must provide the bank statements of trump and all of the Trump children to Congress :thumbsup

Judge rules banks must give the Trump family financial records to congress

A federal judge in New York on Wednesday ruled that Deutsche Bank and Capital One may provide President Trump's financial records to House Democratic lawmakers after the administration attempted to block the move, according to multiple media reports.

This is the second setback for the president this week in his fight to stop lawmakers from gaining access to his financial records as part of their sweeping probes into him, his administration, his private businesses and his family.

Trump, his businesses and family members had argued for the federal court in New York to issue a preliminary injunction to block the subpoenas for documents.

Not above what law, exactly?

This is harassment, your party looks like foolish crybabies.

Fine, get the financial records. But why do we even need them? Mueller report = clear-cut, slam-dunk impeachment.

I don't know why Pelosi has been dragging her feet, as though impeachment proceedings are a chore or something, and she can't be bothered. Really?? We didn't spend $25 million and 2 years on the Mueller report, just so CNN would have a story for a night to do a round table commentary on.

I mean come on Nancy, WTF, do your job already.

^ Impeachment now is a risk, as the Senate will not vote to remove Trump from office. The House starting impeachment, especially without removing him from office, would allow Trump to play victim and probably improve his reelection chances by energizing his base.

Much as I dislike Pelosi, she's using a good strategy by letting facts trickle out through the investigations and court cases, and allowing Trump's tariff war to further negatively impact consumers, farmers, retailers, etc. Absent some new fact or public opinion to cause the Senate Republicans to no longer support Trump, her approach has the best chance of making her goal electing a Democratic President.

They are doing their job. They don't want to impeach Trump.... They want to bury the Republican party. Democrats want the White House, and both houses. THEN they want to go after Trump.

They don't want to impeach Trump... They want to keep talking about impeaching him.
