How well do sex toy review sites convert?

Looking to make a niche sex toy review site and generate organic traffic from branded and non-branded keywords. Does anyone here have personal experience with these type of sites and know how well they tend to convert?

I tried it before but never really took off. The main issues were that there are so many products and differences to choose from and can be overwhelming. Then, if you find products that are popular, then competition is a bit higher on an individual product level. Then I had issues with finding products that I really want to promote, but were no affiliate programs for it or that the commission rates were like 1-4%.

I didn't try it too hard or anything, though, so experiences may vary. :upsidedow

Good luck going against Amazon who is dominating the market. They sell many items for less than what affiliate programs do after deducing your commission.

Shortlist proper targeted keywords and make separate landing page for each products with proper good content and try to do a bit off page SEO activities. Make sure content is good and informative.

Do sex toy reviews and become an amazon affiliate then?

Yeah, but then you'll only get like 1-4%. If you have high sales volumes, then you can make it up to around 6-8%..

or you can do your own review site and set-up a store through MyFreeSexStore.com - Give it a check

I think a better approach would be to create a site with a lot of sex toy reviews (either user-submitted or written by a reviewer) and monetize it a number of different ways.

Who buys sex toys? People who don't have a stigma associated with sex. Those people would likely buy other sexual-related "things" whether videos, supplements, etc.

I've seen affiliates who focus on content related to sex toys but successfully monetize their site with sexual health products.

Pretty well actually.
And yes niche + sex toys is the way to go for organic.

Generic stuff is selling but the competition is insane. I started promoting weird Japanese sex toys. Definitely a much better conversion ratio.

People love to share this stuff. The crazier the better. Social links are necessary.

we promote thediscountadultshop.com which is a whitelabel through adultshopping.com

it's hard though as prices are so much more than amazon :(

Do any sex toy companies offer "loot boxes"? There's a similar one called Slut Box that's popular and is great for buyers who don't know what they want.

why not have a bikini or nude girl talking about each sex toy in a 1 or 2 minute explano video

If you got rid of background you might sell more as hard to read black over the pattern. Signed up to your casino affiliate.

FYI Box24 converts best for me. Use the "free 25 spins on sign-up" to your advantage.

If I were a 20 something big breasted gorgeous woman that demonstrated the various sex toys, it might be successful enough. I seem to remember someone doing that years ago. Of course, if I were that 20 something beauty there is no end to what I could sell. But seriously, if one hired good looking models for pics and vids along with the reviews I think you might have something.
