Wow... 1 hotdog a day is enough to KILL YOU

But seriously... who eats a hotdog a day?

https://goodyfeed.com/why-eating-hot...-kill-you-too/

At most, most people eat a hotdog once a week ... if that.

Is the nitrates cancer threat of hotdogs and other processed foods just OVERBLOWN?

wehateporn 07-24-2019 05:28 AM

It is madness that we consume that stuff, if you want to live, once per month at most

Everybody knows that if you will eat boiled potatoes, brown bread, onion and garlic, you will live forever. But who will live such a life... especially forever?

P.S. I don't eat hotdogs because they are a pure shit, but I'm not on a potato/bread diet as well.

ghjghj 07-24-2019 06:41 AM

can confirm

SpicyM 07-24-2019 07:09 AM

Anything can kill you, even pure water could kill you if you drink too much.

People who work at hot dog shops. When I was a kid I worked at a place called hot dogs and more and we ate hot dogs for lunch every day. I hated hot dogs after that job. lol

baddog 07-24-2019 10:31 AM

The Council estimates Americans consume 20 billion hot dogs a year - more than twice the retail sales figures. That works out to about 70 hot dogs per person each year. Hot dogs are served in 95 percent of homes in the United States.

wehateporn 07-24-2019 11:07 AM

There's the slight worldwide difference, I've never known a hotdog to be served in a home, their at fairs and shows and the occasional street vender and eaten when your under 12 or mindlessly off your nut on some drug, but never dished up at someone's house.

davidCRM 07-25-2019 01:30 AM

very cool story ok

ilnjscb 07-25-2019 03:10 AM

Let me help you:

"In fact, an American Physicians Commitee have announced that hot dogs can increase a person’s risk of developing colorectal cancer. In fact, they found out that just one hot dog per day can increase the risk of colorectal cancer by a whopping 21 percent."

Great scientific writing, right?

One extra hot dog a day *CAN* (might, might not, but could, but we have no idea how likely or unlikely that is) increase the risk of COLORECTAL CANCER by 21%

based on this real research:

WHO’s cancer arm found similar results. Twenty-two experts from 10 countries reviewed more than 800 studies, finding that eating 50 grams of processed meat — the equivalent of one hot dog or four strips of bacon — every day increased the risk of colorectal cancer by 18 percent, according to the American Cancer Society, which summarized the research.

The non-profit Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine is the body to whom the above refers. They're pro vegan lifestyle. It has been said of this organization that "they've been repeatedly accused by the American Medical Association of distorting the facts as a means of promoting this agenda."

But if it is true, the the chance of developing COLORECTAL CANCER before hot dogs? About 4.2%. So with one hot dog a day, you are now 4.6% likely to get COLORECTAL CANCER or, bacon makes you 4.6% likely to get COLORECTAL CANCER

brassmonkey 07-25-2019 03:40 AM

you take showers or baths? there are things in that shit... oh man bad stuff! serious chems. it goes in your skin

I think it is overblown, there's no proof of cancer risk from consuming sodium nitrite. Sodium nitrate we eat in fruits, vegetables, and grains is also converted to sodium nitrite by our bodies. Does it make fruits dangerous too? :upsidedow

yes since we dont know the cause of cancer

ilnjscb 07-25-2019 02:08 PM

The point is, adults in the US develop colon/rectal cancer about 4.2% of the time, which is a lot. depending on who you listen to it is either the 3rd or 2nd most common killer cancer.

People don't talk about it cause ....

Anyway, a sample of 4.2% vs 4.6% is literally negligible, and no statistical confidence allows for definitive declaration that small in a sample population.
