I moved here where I accepted the job to work for Lensman at Playboy, and I couldn't be happier here. I live in a HOA area. It's $118/month, and we get free high speed Internet - 100 up and 100 down and rarely any issues. My HOA just opened up a $8 million expansion.... We went from two pools and a small gym to five pools (one indooors), a huge gym, and a basketball court.

This is pool #2, one of the original pools, with the new building behind it. The new building had the indoor pool, gym, and basketball court...

i used to deliver double pane doors and windows to assholes like you. :) there was a rapper that lived in snottsdale area. there were girls sitting outside a bunch of them. they would not tell me who :( they just said he's famous. shit ice t lives here!

How many people are in the HOA? That's a great price for what you are getting.

the one here was like $500 it is very high class. there are even stores inside the community. you never have to leave the gates. :helpme:helpme i delivered in one community there was a ex nazi there. he had his suit in this glass case with his gun and shit. those suits were really sharp shit

I don't remember, but it's very large. I want to to say over 1k homes, nearly eight thousand people. I'll have to find out.

It is a great deal for the price. Internet alone costs $50-$100 bucks or so.

My mother lives in a small condo complex about 100 miles from here, pays $350 a month, and gets a single small crappy pool. Plus every time they want to do something - like paint the condos (which they just did) - they have to pay extra.

It looks like a nice place and well worth the $118 a month for all of those amenities. I miss Sacramento and California :(

I have a vacation condo in Seattle and pay $400 to HOA every month :( They don't do much. I need to start renting in it out on airbnb.

Sounds like a quite cheap deal. I guess it's discounted because of association ?

There are services now that will handle that for you. You may want to check into that, you'll probably come out ahead or at least breakeven.

Its all over Seattle/Tacoma area. People encouraged to rent their basements and spare space. Real estate madness is in full swing. All sorts of "airbnb management" companies out there. I just haven't looked into hiring one.

You're getting a pretty amazing deal. I just sold one of my houses which was in a strata (sort of like hoa) we only got garbage pickup, water and snow clearing for about the same monthly fee.

Is HOA membership mandatory? That may explain why it's so cheap - everyone in the area is subsidising the costs of facilities and servies, regardless of whether they actually use them.

It is mandatory. Everyone in the HOA area MUST pay these fees.
