I still do it, i need to walk otherwise i get headache. And nothing better to motivate but going to shopping.

Funny yo ;)))) we call FedEx from our phones too to track down wrong deliveries.

Local shopping malls are totally full during the day and they keep opening new ones. When I need something I want to check out closely or try it out, I usually go to a shopping centre and take my GF to a restaurant, cafe, cinema or we just enjoy a walk in the city. I like it this way.

Never ordered anything from Amazon, I don't like their site.

I can think of quite a few strip malls around me that have nice size parking lots yet you can never find a parking spot. Somebody is definitely still shopping!

We go out daily for a round of errands and shopping. Run past the Post Office to mail out orders then usually go and get fresh veggies. That and the gym is the sum total of our social lives these days, lol.

Tell your friend to go to Sears ... oh wait ... Walmart... errr no .... Kmart ...uh no ... Get used to being at home while shopping. No fighting over parking spots, no shlepping bags, no rude group of teens laughing at your (insert name here) and no getting dressed.

Your friend could get out of the house and park at a store, grab their phone and go to Amazon.

I order quite a bit online but still go shopping every once in a while. Depends on what I'm looking for. Some things you simply can't choose from a photo. That said, I never do my ordering online from the phone unless there's no other way and it's urgent. Somehow a laptop makes more sense for this. And I like to make my ungrounded snap decisions on what to buy in the comfort of home :D
