I stopped going to my boy's corp events years ago but I remember the last one I attended (in Turks, try to have fun with people who are basically ruling a modern Rhodesia and find that state of affairs peachy) I got completely fed up and told every pompous fuck who asked what I did (waiting until my husband's back was turned before hitting on me while mocking everything I'm about) that I was an ancient alien theorist I recall that night as being very peaceful after that, they left me alone and I hung out with the bartender who was an actual friend until the event was done and time to ditch the heels and go dancing incidentally your pic is a perfect tagline for the history channel |

Iīll keep an eye out for this! Gary bought me a telescope for our anniversary 2 weeks ago. Itīs not a huge scope, just a starter scope, 1 mtr long with 90mm lens, but itīs great to see the rings of saturn and the amazing colours in Jupiter. It also is great to view double stars 5 light years away... Iīm so looking forward to seeing what ever it is that orbits or travels across our system! |

iīd only wanted to look at the craters on the moon and maybe look at some stars sometimes, Gary always goes overboard when buying presents for me :1orglaugh After studying scopes before purchasing the right one, it seems the reflector scopes are generally better for looking at galaxies & deep space, refractors directing on detail, for the similar detail a refractor 90mm shows, a reflector would need to be at least 130mm. Anyway, looking forward to seeing this huge lump of crap flying through space in a months time :winkwink: :1orglaugh Quote:
another great reason to enjoy Spain :thumbsup |
